Events - Cohen Cup
This annual cooking and camping competition for Scouts was held from 21 -22 June on the Oval in the Adelaide Showgrounds.
This change in venue was a challenge to Scouts to camp in a place that is both familiar and unfamiliar, and that provides opportunities for some different activities in unusual settings.
The theme of the Cohen Cup for 2008 was “international” so Patrols chose a country or culture (not English speaking!) around which to base their camp decorations/constructions, menu, and apparel!
38 Patrols were in attendance for this weekend - a record turnout for a number of years, and a great way to celebrate Year of the Scout in a new and unusual experience in the Adelaide Showgrounds.
